Stansted Wellbeing Festival

Sunday 9th October

St Johns Church Hall, Stansted

In support and celebration of World Mental Health Day join us for our annual Wellbeing Festival and discover all that our wonderful community has to offer, from clubs and groups to local crafts and hobbies.

Meet the crew and explore one of the fire engines from the Stansted Fire Station and meet the adorable friendship dogs from Ace Hounds.

Indulge in some self care and discover local arts, crafts, florists and wellbeing businesses with Berries Florist, Country Crafts and Preserves, Homemade Jewellery, Candles and wax melts, the Lather Lady, Pyromanda, Tropic skin care products & services, Hands on Healing and Freshleaf Hypnotherapy.

Save some money with our Children’s Toy and Book Stall – Free second hand toys and books simply take, donate or bring something to swap.

Join in with demonstrations of yoga, meditation, relaxation and fitness from local fitness leaders Kamala Haffner, Dina McDonald, Su Civil and the She’s Ready Stansted team as well as SLAM FIT and Fierce Fitness.

Get your physical stats checked with the team at Mountfitchet Romeera Leisure Centre.

Meet new people, join and volunteer for Open Water swimming, walking, fitness, woodwork, allotment gardening, the Hundred Parish Society,  Music@Stansted and other clubs.

Meet the Parish Council and community groups such as TouchPoint Stansted.

Take a moment for quiet reflection and meditation with Rev. Helen Flack, Associate Priest at St John’s Church.

Let the kids enjoy live music from local DJ John Searle as well as crafts and meet the team behind local children’s dance class, Twirling Tots.

Enjoy teas, coffees and refreshments.

World Kindness Day

On this day, participants attempt to make the world a better place by celebrating and promoting good deeds and pledging acts of kindness, either as individuals or as organisations. Follow our facebook group for our activities in support of this day.
